Appliance recycling is held in cooperation with the Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation (He.R.R.Co) and the Municipality of Athens. 17 recycling packaging item blue bins have been placed in the University campus, where paper and cardboard, plastic and paper packaging items, glass, aluminum and tinplate can be collected. The Municipality is responsible for the collection and removal of the collected items.

The bins are collected and gathered up to a specific area by a member of the University personnel. The total amount of collected paper once a month is sold to a recycling company. The average estimated amount is 1tn of paper per month.
