Short Cycle Education
Every curriculum of the short cycle education is compiled by a team of teaching staff members of the relevant subject area. The short cycle education curriculum includes aims, duration, course titles, course content, learning objectives, credits, teaching hours in which the teaching work is included, the sequence of courses, the qualifications and specialties of the educators who undertake its implementation, and finally the learning outcomes.
Lifelong Learning
The organization and implementation of Lifelong Learning and Training Programmes in AUA aim at the improvement of knowledge, skills and tools of the trainees. Every Lifelong Learning curriculum is compiled by a special committee comprising of professors of the relevant subject area and is made up of the Deanery of the School of Lifelong Learning. Every curriculum includes course titles, content, learning objectives, teaching hours in which any form of teaching work is included, course sequence, qualifications and specialties of the educators necessary for its implementation, credits for the whole course together with the credits of each particular educational activity, learning outcomes and acquired qualifications. Students can pursue a Lifelong Learning programme according to a public announcement, in which selection criteria are defined. Distance Learning courses are also organized within the Lifelong Learning programmes.
