Associate Professor of Plant Stress Physiology. His research interests include photosynthesis under stress and photoprotection, the role of carbon inclusions in plant physiology and stress tolerance, optical properties of plant tissues, water stress, physiological significance of secondary metabolites, plant nutrition.
