Associate Professor of Plant Pathology-Virology. She is a expert of the Plant Health Panel of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), where she is also a member of the working groups on i) high-risk plants, ii) plant pathogen categorisation, and has been a member of the working group on virus categorisation.

He graduated from the Department of Agriculture (Specialization in Plant Production), Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and did his master studies in Plant Protection, at the Department of Agriculture, AUTH. He holds a PhD in Plant Pathology-Virology from the Department of Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
