Director of the Laboratory of Floriculture & Landscape Architecture

Director of the Postgraduate Program "Landscape Architecture"

Concerning Floriculture, she specializes in the Propagation/Micropropagation (Tissue Culture) and the Manipulation of the Growth and Flowering of Floricultural Plants, in the Study of the Biology, Ecophysiology and Cultivation Techniques of Native Plants of the Greek/Mediterranean Flora with the aim of their utilization in Floriculture and Landscape Architecture with emphasis on their resistance to xerothermic conditions, and in Green Roofs.

Concerning Landscape Architecture, she specializes in Landscape Design and Management with emphasis on nature based solutions, the Vegetation Design and Management of Archaeological Sites, and the History of Landscape Architecture.

Publications: 418 including those in refereed conference proceedings, 149 in international journals shown in Scopus
