 Net present value and other investment criteria
 Making investment decisions with the net present value rule
 Concepts of risk and return. Portfolio theory and the capital asset pricing model (CAPM). Risk and cost of capital
 Capital Budgeting Best Practices: Project Analysis, Investments, Strategy, and Financial Returns, Agency Problems, Compensation, and Performance/Performance Measurement
 Financial Decisions and Market Efficiency: Efficient Markets and Behavioral Financial Analysis,
 Financing of companies. Securities. Profit distribution policy and capital structure. Lending policy. Funding and Valuation
 Rights: Options. Actual rights.
 Financing with loan funds.
 Credit risk and value of the company's loan funds.
 Lending. Finance lease
 Risk Management and International Risk Management
 Financial planning and working capital management: Financial analysis, Financial planning, Working capital management
 Mergers, corporate control and governance

Learning results

After completing the course, it is expected that students will be able to:

To understand the fundamental principles and methods of financial operation,

To apply excellent practices in the financial management of businesses,

To be able to diagnose the financial situation of companies and assess dynamic growth,

To evaluate and choose investment decision strategies

To delve into the functioning of international financial markets and institutions

To utilize modern financial methods and tools.

The course aims to bring students into contact with the environment of business operations and introduce them to the basic tools and methods of financial management. The course emphasizes fundamental concepts of finance, as well as their practical application. Ways in which students will be able to use financial theory to solve practical problems and as a means of responding to change are examined.
