AAikaterini Karpeta is a permanent Faculty Member at the rank of Lecturer of Applications in the Department of Regional and Economic Development of the Agricultural University of Athens.
Her academic field is Applications in Accounting and Management. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the School of Business Administration and Economics, Department of Accounting, TEI of Chalkida, and a Master of Arts in Adult Education from the School of Humanities, Hellenic Open University.

She has excellent knowledge in the following areas: Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Internet Applications. She holds the Key CERT IT Initial certification, as well as a Certificate of Training in the Basic Principles of Adult Education.

In the private sector, she has worked as an Assistant Accountant from 1992 to 1995 in the accounting office IONIKI Ltd – Business Consultants and in the company VITOSA S.A. (Electrical Appliances, Food & Clothing Company), keeping category C books, while also providing secretarial support. In 2014, she also worked under a five-month contract as an Internal Services Employee at Hellenic Post (ELTA).

She has extensive teaching experience. From 1996 to 2005 and again in 2008–2009, she taught in higher education as Adjunct Teaching Staff (Laboratory Associate level) at the Department of Business Administration, School of Business Administration and Economics, TEI of Chalkida. From 2003 to 2017, she served as Lecturer of Applications at the TEI of Central Greece. From 2019 to 2022, she was Lecturer of Applications at the General Department of the Agricultural University of Athens, and from 2022 to 2024, Lecturer of Applications at the Department of Regional and Economic Development of the Agricultural University of Athens.

She has served for many years as Chair of Thesis Committees and has supervised a large number of undergraduate theses covering a variety of scientific fields (economics, culture, tourism). She has also served as a member of various committees within the framework of her administrative duties.

She is also an Education Advisor in the Department of Regional and Economic Development (POA) of the Unit for Equal Access of the Agricultural University of Athens.
