Mr. Manos Anagnostaras is an Agricultural Engineer and Food Scientist (M.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering) specializing in Sustainability and Environmental Management (Energy and Pollution). Since 2017, he has been serving as a Member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP) at the Laboratory of Food Engineering & Processing (F.E.P.) of the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at the Agricultural University of Athens (A.U.A.), with academic expertise in Food Engineering and Food Processing. His teaching duties include the instruction of laboratory exercises in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the Laboratory of Food Engineering & Processing, as well as the supervision and support of undergraduate thesis projects. He has published peer‑reviewed research articles in international scientific journals and has participated in ten national and international research projects as a member of the F.E.P. Laboratory research team. His research activities focus on: Improvement of food texture and sensory attributes, Investigation of storage conditions and their impact on the physical properties of novel functional products, Process Modeling in Food Engineering using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)Study of Heat and Mass Transfer phenomena in food processing operations, Bioconversion of Food Industry Waste into Biopolymers, Bioremediation Technologies and Methods, Design and Development of innovative food packaging materials
