Course Content
Introduction to forest soils, their formation, mineralogical composition, and physical, chemical, and biological properties. Soil water relations, nutrient cycles, soil fertility, classification, and the role of forest soils in ecosystem processes and the hydrological cycle.
The Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management joined the Faculty of Plant Sciences of the AUA. The Department operates from the academic year 2019-2020 and is based in Tthe city of Karpenisi. Housed in the building facilities of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management of the former Technical Scool (TEI) of Central Greece.
