Course Content
General concepts and definitions. Different classification systems of plant species. Description and classification of plant species. Floral diagrams and floral types. Diagnostic features of the main families of forest ecosystems in Greece. Family-level identification, using keys and stereoscopes.
The Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management joined the Faculty of Plant Sciences of the AUA. The Department operates from the academic year 2019-2020 and is based in Tthe city of Karpenisi. Housed in the building facilities of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management of the former Technical Scool (TEI) of Central Greece.
