This is the main course that addresses the economic analysis of resource management. The course objective is to introduce students to the rational/optimal concept of resource management.
Upon course completion, a typical student is expected:
To be able to elaborate on the “tragedy of the commons”.
To comprehend the meaning of overfishing and natural resources over-use .
To advance and analyze methodologies for resource management.
It is the only Greek University Department with the objective of training agroeconomists able to meet the demands of this new period in Greek agriculture which was inaugurated with the entry of Greece into the E.U.
