The International & Public Relations Office is responsible for the development, organisation and promotion of AUA public affairs with other universities and organisations. In addition, the office deals with:
- Promotion of the Institution through mass media information events
- Organisation of ceremonies, celebrations, conferences, lectures and other events
- Scheduling meetings, visits and contacts for the Rector and Deputy Rectors with the Institution offices, public agencies and the public
The responsibilities of the office also include:
- Drawing up and update of AUA promotion entries in editions on environmental, agricultural and educational issues
- Preparation and participation of the Institution in educational and agricultural exhibitions
- Co-organisation and support of cultural events
- Collaboration in drafting the Technical Annex for National Strategic Reference Framework proposals
- Update of the promotion material of the Institution (Study guide, audio-visual material)
- Effective functioning of the Educational Guided Tours for schools in AUA campus (since 2001)
- Coordination and monitoring of TV and movie shooting in AUA campus
- Organisation of the academic community annual trip abroad
- Maintaining correspondence etiquette
- Secretarial support of the Institution Legal Advisor’ s office
- Secretarial support of the “Triptolemus” AUA Magazine and its distribution to 2.500 readers
