Dr. Theodore Daglis is an Assistant Professor at the Agricultural University of Athens, Department of Regional & Economic Development. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (specializing in: a) Computational Mathematics, b) Statistics & Operations Research, c) Teaching Mathematics), an MSc in Mathematical Modeling from the Technical University of Athens (Specializing in Financial Engineering), an MSc in Economics from Panteion University, and a PhD in Applied Econometrics & Economic Analysis from the Technical University of Athens entitled “Stochastic Physical Phenomena and Economic Activity”. His expertise includes econometrics (time-series analysis, panel data, time-varying models, etc), chaotic modeling (fractal and multifractal analysis), volatility modeling (stochastic, realized, etc), and machine learning (forecasting, natural language processing, etc). The fields of study he currently engages in include economics, finance, environment, energy, agriculture, scientometrics, bibliometrics, topic modeling, and others. He possesses three post-docs: a) Energy-Agriculture Price Transmission, b) Alternative Empirical Investigations in Sustainability, Circular Economy, and ESG, and c) Alternative Empirical Investigations using Natural Language Processing in Sustainability, Circular Economy, ESG, and Total Quality Management. He has published 45 scientific works in international journals, has participated in 29 conference presentations, and is a reviewer of many international journals.
