Panagiotis Pegkas is an Assistant Professor in macroeconomics at the Department of Regional and Economic Development of the Agricultural University of Athens. He received his bachelor's degree in Economics and his MSc in Applied Economics from the Department of Economic Sciences of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds a PhD in Economics (Harokopio University of Athens, Department of Economics & Sustainable Development). He has taught at the School of Science of the University of Thessaly, at the Department of Economics and Sustainable Development of the Harokopion University of Athens, and at the Department of Business Administration of the University of West Attica. Also, he has taught at the Department of Public Administration of the Hellenic Open University and in postgraduate programs of the Hellenic Institute of Economics of Education, Lifelong Learning, Research and Innovation. He has worked in the National Accounts Department of the Hellenic Statistical Authority and participated in research projects of the Economic Sciences Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has published articles in scientific journals and has participated in scientific conferences. Also, he has been a reviewer in several international journals. His research interests focus on the fields of Macroeconomics and Applied Economics.
