Panagiotis Mitropoulos

Short CV

Panagiotis Mitropoulos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Regional and Economic Development, Agricultural University of Athens (Amfissa). He is a graduate of the Mathematics Department at the University of Aegean, with postgraduate studies in Statistics and Operational Research from the University of Essex UK. He received his Ph.D. in Operational Research from the Department of Business Administration of the University of Patras 2007. He has taught at various academic institutions, including the University of Patras, TEI of Western Greece, the Open University of Cyprus, and the Hellenic Air Force Academy. He also taught undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Hellenic Open University in the field of quantitative methods and management science from 2013. His research interests cover a broad area of Operations Research/Management Science (OR/MS), focusing mainly on data envelopment analysis, multiple criteria decision-making, and location analysis.
