Marina-Selini Katsaiti

Short CV

Marina-Selini Katsaiti is an Associate Professor and Chair at the Department of Regional and Economic Development of the Agricultural University of Athens. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of Connecticut (Storrs, USA) in 2010. From 2010 until 2019 she served as a faculty of Economics (Assistant 2010-2014, and Associate 2015-2019) at the Department of Economics and Finance of the United Arab Emirates University (Al Ain, UAE) and as the Department Chair from January 2018-July 2019. Dr. Katsaiti has worked for the Connecticut Centre for Economic Analysis, the Research Department of the State of Connecticut (USA), the University of Connecticut (USA) and the Centre for European Constitutional Law (Athens). She has been teaching for the Hellenic Open University since October 2020 and for the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak as visiting faculty since September 2020. Her research interests fall in the areas of Health Economics, Labor Economics and Happiness among other things. She has published her work in internationally renowned journals such as: Economic Inquiry, Journal of Macroeconomics, Empirical Economics, International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of Happiness Studies, Economic Analysis and Policy.
