Course Content

Teaching of texts combined with development of critical thinking, familiarization with business terminology, teaching of syntax/grammar applied to the needs of the course objectives and topics based on real-life situations
Topic:

The world of business (location/facilities/work environment). Workplace performance, company comparison, programs (IT & software) culture and business culture, starting a company, marketing, unemployment and finding a job.

Learning results

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

-use basic language skills in the English language combined with an understanding of terminology and authentic everyday dialogues in material related to the language of business (Business English)

understand texts and learn strategies that will help them understand their main ideas
manage the oral language at satisfactory levels and participate in a simulated interview
produce structured paragraphs and write an official letter (e-mail) and report (report) - create a CV
