Course Content

  • Teaching of texts combined with development of critical thinking, familiarization with business terminology, teaching of syntax/grammar applied to the needs of the course objectives and topics based on real-life situations
  • Topic:

The world of business (location/facilities/work environment). Workplace performance, company comparison, programs (IT & software) culture and business culture, starting a company, marketing, unemployment and finding a job.

Learning results

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

-use basic language skills in the English language combined with an understanding of terminology and authentic everyday dialogues in material related to the language of business (Business English)

  • understand texts and learn strategies that will help them understand their main ideas
  • manage the oral language at satisfactory levels and participate in a simulated interview
  • produce structured paragraphs and write an official letter (e-mail) and report (report) - create a CV
