Its collection has been extended thanks to its collaboration with other university libraries and its participation in the consortium Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link). At present it includes bibliographic databases, statistical data and other reference sources. These databases cover a wide range of topics related to the science of agriculture as well as topics related to mechanics, mathematics, economic and social sciences, biology, medicine, marketing, business administration, etc. The databases are accessible via the worldwide web and are offered either free to all users or, by controlled access, to the AUA network users. Remote access to the databases (e.g. from a PC at home) is possible for the Library members via the Virtual Private Network (VPN) service provided by the AUA.
