The main objective of the courses is to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills related to the design and practical implementation of sustainable, environmentally friendly, integrated crop and weed management systems to increase agricultural productivity and profitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, there is an urgent need to move towards more sustainable agricultural practices that meet the environmental, economic and social challenges of modern agriculture. Conventional methods of crop and weed management are often characterized by an overreliance on chemical synthetic inputs, which can lead to land and habitat degradation and to the exacerbation of issues as herbicide resistance.
