Leonidas Zangelidis is a PhD candidate (Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, AUA) and a research economist (MSc in Economics, AUEB). He is interested in agricultural economics (commodity futures, international trade, and productivity), empirical research and analysis (applied econometrics), financial assets (commodity markets), and monetary economics (money demand, monetary policy). He has participated in several (international) conferences, such as the 26th ICMAIF, the 8th ASECU Youth (nominated for the Tsekouras Prize for young economists), and the 32nd Panhellenic Statistics Conference.
