A detailed and extensive analysis of the composition of milk-derived extracellular vesicles, and other microparticles and milk components from four taxonomical species, including humans as a reference species, is proposed. Access to large medical and omic-based data related to milk, milk-exosomes and lactation endocrinology will drive a thorough bioinformatics and computational analysis based on transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic data in conjunction with the use and integration of comparative phylogenetic analysis data.
