Kostas Triantaphyllopoulos

Brief Curriculum Vitae

Kostas A. Triantaphyllopoulos (KT) is an Assistant Professor in the Laboratory of Genetics,

Department of Biotechnology. KT is a graduate of the Agricultural University of Athens & holds

a PhD in Biology from the University of Patras, Department of Biology, in the field of Molecular

Biology and Genetics. He was a postgraduate scholar from the Institute of Molecular Biology &

Biotechnology (Crete) and the Institute of Biology of NCSR "Demokritos" (PhD). His

longstanding research and academic experience concerns Biomedical research in the United

Kingdom (1994-2010), as an experienced researcher (senior research fellow at King's College

London & Imperial College London) and group leader (Imperial College London), before his

repatriation.
