Brief Curriculum Vitae

Laboratory Director

Ph.D in Biophysics/Protein crystallography from the University of Oregon. Postdoctoral experience at Harvard.12-year experience in drug discovery within the US biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry. Was responsible for establishing and heading protein crystallography labs at Biogen Inc. and Locus Pharmaceuticals. Participated in collaborative structure-based drug design efforts. Research has focused on enzyme structure and function, immune system proteins and kinases. Experience in teaching science courses and directing the Physics Laboratory at the Agricultural University of Athens.
