Πώς αλλάζει η έκθεση των ξενιστών σε θυσσανώδεις μυκόριζες στο χώρο

Περιγραφή:
Σε μεγάλο μέρος της βιβλιογραφίας αναφέρεται ότι η πυκνότητα των “μολυσμάτων” των θυσσανωδών μυκορριζών είναι απαράλλακτα υψηλή, το οποίο ξέρουμε ότι δεν είναι αλήθεια. Μέσω παλιότερων προγραμμάτων (π.χ. Metacorrhiza in Germany) και σε διαφορετικά συστήματα έχω εξερευνήσει κατά πόσο αυτό συμβαίνει και ποιες είναι οι επιπτώσεις του στο οικοσύστημα.

Οι επιπτώσεις που έχουν οι μυκόρριζες στον κύκλο του αζώτου

Περιγραφή:
Τα γεωργικά οικοσυστήματα δέχονται τρομακτικές ποσότητες αζωτολίπανσης. Αυτό σε μεγάλο βαθμό εκπλένεται ή επιστρέφει στην ατμόσφαιρα ως υποξείδιο του αζώτου. Ένας τρόπος με τον οποίο μπορούμε δυνητικά να περιορίσουμε αυτά τα φαινόμενα είναι να ευνοήσουμε το σχηματισμό μυκορριζών.
