To εργαστήριο Αμπελολογίας ανήκει στον Τομέα Τομέας Δενδροκομίας και Αμπελουργίας με δομή:

Κύριος σκοπός του εργαστηρίου είναι να παρέχει γνώσεις και εκπαίδευση σε θέματα Αμπελουργίας και Αμπελογραφίας σε προπτυχιακό και μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο. Τα εκπαιδευτικά θέματα περιλαμβάνουν τη μορφολογία και ανατομία της αμπέλου, τον πολλαπλασιασμό και την in-vitro καλλιέργεια της αμπέλου, την εγκατάσταση αμπελώνα, τις αρχές κλαδέματος, μόρφωση και υποστύλωση των πρέμνων, φυσιολογία και οικολογία της αμπέλου, καλλιεργητικές τεχνικές και επεμβάσεις στον αμπελώνα.

Επιπλέον, στις δραστηριότητες του Εργαστηρίου περιλαμβάνονται έρευνα σε θέματα κλωνικής επιλογής σε ελληνικές ποικιλίες αμπέλου, αμπελογραφική περιγραφή και ταξινόμηση των ελληνικών ποικιλιών αμπέλου, ταυτοποίηση και γενετική μελέτη ελληνικών ποικιλιών αμπέλου με τη χρήση βιοχημικών και μοριακών μεθόδων, βελτίωση της αμπέλου με κύτταρο- και ιστο- καλλιέργεια, στη συγκριτική μελέτη των νέων συστημάτων μόρφωσης των πρέμνων, στη θρέψη της αμπέλου, στη μελέτη επιδράσεων της οργανικής ουσίας του εδάφους στην άμπελο, καθώς και στη μελέτη των ποιοτικών και ποσοτικών χαρακτήρων των σταφυλών και του γλεύκους (σάκχαρα, ολικά και μεμονωμένα οξέα, ολικά και μεμονωμένα φαινολικά, ολικές και μεμονωμένες ανθοκυάνες, αντιοξειδωτική ικανότητα, κ.ά.). των ποικιλιών αμπέλου που καλλιεργούνται στην Ελλάδα.

 

Έρευνα - Εξοπλισμός

Η ομάδα του Εργαστηρίου Αμπελολογίας έχει συμμετάσχει σε πολλά εθνικά και διεθνή ερευνητικά προγράμματα με κύρια ερευνητικά αντικείμενα τη γενετική μελέτη των κυριότερων ελληνικών ποικιλιών αμπέλου με τη χρήση αμπελογραφικών και μοριακών μεθόδων, την επίδραση της λίπανσης, της άρδευσης και των κλαδεμάτων μόρφωσης και καρποφορίας στη φυσιολογία και οικοφυσιολογία της αμπέλου, την παραγωγή διαφόρων ποικιλιών σε συνθήκες αμπελώνα, το λήθαργο των λανθανόντων οφθαλμών, την ποιοτική αξιολόγηση ποικιλιών αμπέλου κ.ά.

Το Εργαστήριο Αμπελολογίας του ΓΠΑ είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με επιστημονικά όργανα για τη διεξαγωγή πειραμάτων. Διαθέτει γενετικό αναλυτή (Genetic AnalyzerApplied Biosystems), PCR θερμοκυκλοποιητή, εξοπλισμό για ηλεκτροφόρηση πηκτής αγαρόζης και πολυακριλαμίδης, HPLC και UV/VIS φασματοφωτόμετρα, αέριο χρωματογράφο για τον προσδιορισμό των ποιοτικών και ποσοτικών χαρακτήρων ποικιλιών αμπέλου, υδατόλουτρα, μηχανή παραγωγής πάγου, κλιβάνους για αποστείρωση τεχνητών θρεπτικών υποστρωμάτων, ψυγεία 4°C, καταψύκτες -20°C και - 80°C, θάλαμο νηματικής ροής, απαγωγό εστία για τη βιοασφάλεια, φυγοκέντρους, ζυγούς ακριβείας, αναδευτήρες, αποστακτήρα (MQ) νερού, θάλαμο ανάπτυξης φυτών με ελεγχόμενο περιβάλλον και ρυθμιζόμενη θερμοκρασία-φως-υγρασία.

Τα ερευνητικά ενδιαφέροντα του εργαστηρίου είναι:

  • Θρέψη – λίπανση καρποφόρων δένδρων
  • Ανάπτυξη καρπών βερικοκιάς και ποιοτικά χαρακτηριστικά αυτών.
  • Μελέτη φωτοσυνθετικών χαρακτηριστικών και κατανομής υδατανθράκων στα καρποφόρα δένδρα και θάμνους.
  • Διάκριση ποικιλιών διαφόρων καρποφόρων δένδρων με μοριακούς δείκτες.
  • Επίδραση της αλατότητας και υδατικής καταπόνησης στην ανάπτυξη των εκφύτων διαφόρων καρποφόρων δένδρων και θάμνων κατά τον in vitro πολλαπλασιασμό τους.
  • Σύσταση καρπών ελληνικών και ξενικών ποικιλιών φιστικιάς.
  • Επίδραση αβιοτικών καταπονήσεων στη φυσιολογία και βιοχημεία των καρποφόρων δένδρων.
  • Επίδραση φυτορυθμιστικών ουσιών στο ύψος και την ποιότητα παραγωγής φράουλας και καρποφόρων δένδρων.
  • Μικροπολλαπλασιασμός καρποφόρων δένδρων και θάμνων.
  • Μελέτη του φαινομένου της παρενιαυτοφορίας των καρποφόρων δένδρων.
  • Μορφολογικά και φυσιολογικά χαρακτηριστικά του ελαιοδένδρου σε σχέση με την υδατική καταπόνηση και τη θρεπτική του κατάσταση.
    Πολλαπλασιασμός καρποφόρων δένδρων και θάμνων με φυλλοφόρα και ξυλοποιημένα άφυλλα μοσχεύματα.
  • Μελέτη ιδιοτήτων και πολλαπλασιασμός υποκειμένων καρποφόρων δένδρων (διατήρηση μητρικής φυτείας με πάνω από 30 υποκείμενα καρποφόρων δένδρων).
  • Μελέτη της θρεπτικής κατάστασης και της ποιότητας των καρπών υπό συμβατική, ολοκληρωμένη και βιολογική καλλιεργητική πρακτική.
  • Επίδραση διαφόρων χειρισμών στη διακοπή του ληθάργου και στην πρωίμηση και ποιοτικά χαρακτηριστικά της παραγωγής.
  • Καλλιεργητικοί χειρισμοί για βελτίωση ποιότητας της πρώτης ύλης επιτραπέζιας ελιάς.
  • Καλλιεργητικοί χειρισμοί σε δένδρα βερίκοκων για βελτίωση ποιότητας καρπών κατά τη συγκομιδή και συντήρηση σε απλή ψύξη.
  • Συντήρηση βερίκοκων με νέες τεχνολογίες και με βάση ποιοτικά χαρακτηριστικά και θρεπτικά συστατικά.
  • Προ- και μετά- συλλεκτικοί χειρισμοί εσπεριδοειδών για βελτίωση ποιότητας.
  • Μελέτη της συντήρησης των λεμονιών.
  • Συντήρηση ακτινιδίων
  • Ποιότητα και συντήρηση κερασιών σε καινοτόμες συσκευασίες
