The Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management aims to provide high-level education covering the full range of disciplines related to Forestry and the Natural Environment, as well as to conduct research in these fields.

It awards an Integrated Master’s Degree, corresponding to Level 7 of the National and European Qualifications Framework.

A key element of the Department’s educational and research activities is the rich and diverse natural environment of Evrytania, which serves as a natural laboratory. It is ideal both for students’ practical training and for research activities in forestry and natural environment topics. The Department actively participates in European and national research programs and makes a significant contribution to forestry research in Greece. Furthermore, it develops collaborations with other Higher Education Institutions in Greece and abroad, as well as with organizations and businesses related to the Department’s field of study.
