Governing Bodies

The governing bodies of the Department are:

1. The General Assembly, which includes all faculty members of the Department, a representative of the Special Technical Laboratory Staff (E.T.E.P.), and a student representative.
2. The Head of the Department, along with the Deputy Head.

The responsibilities and duties of the administrative bodies of university departments are defined by Law 4957/2022 (Government Gazette 141/A/21-7-2022), titled “New Horizons in Higher Education Institutions: Enhancing quality, functionality, and the connection of Higher Education Institutions with society, and other provisions.”
