Course Content
Study of forest stands based on structure and composition, horizontal and vertical forest structure, stand development and regeneration, silvicultural systems and management forms, natural regeneration methods, conversion of coppice forests, forest tending practices, and structural analysis and silvicultural diagnosis of local forest stands.
The Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management joined the Faculty of Plant Sciences of the AUA. The Department operates from the academic year 2019-2020 and is based in Tthe city of Karpenisi. Housed in the building facilities of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management of the former Technical Scool (TEI) of Central Greece.
