4825. Bioengineering and Vegetative Engineering Works
Course Content
Introduction and objectives of bioengineering works, selection of plant material and methods, improvement of site quality, vegetative techniques for erosion control, slope stabilization, drainage, torrent regulation, dune stabilization, and landscape and watershed management applications.
The Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management joined the Faculty of Plant Sciences of the AUA. The Department operates from the academic year 2019-2020 and is based in Tthe city of Karpenisi. Housed in the building facilities of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management of the former Technical Scool (TEI) of Central Greece.
