4815. Forest and Environmental Legislation
Course Content
Basic legal concepts and principles, forest law and definitions, forest ownership and management, protection of forests and forest lands, forest engineering works, environmental protection policies of the European Union, international ecological conventions, hunting law, legal instruments and their interpretation, and compliance mechanisms between national and EU environmental legislation.
The Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management joined the Faculty of Plant Sciences of the AUA. The Department operates from the academic year 2019-2020 and is based in Tthe city of Karpenisi. Housed in the building facilities of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management of the former Technical Scool (TEI) of Central Greece.
