Course Content

Factors affecting soil fertility and plant growth, clay minerals and their role in fertility, assessment of soil fertility, plant nutrients and nutrition, soil fertility improvement through fertilization, and applications and impacts of fertilization in forestry.

Learning Results

The main goal is to understand the relationships between them, their interactions and the importance of proper and sustainable management of forest ecosystems and their components for the health of the natural environment and all their living components.

DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY 

The Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management joined the Faculty of Plant Sciences of the AUA. The Department operates from the academic year 2019-2020 and is based in Tthe city of Karpenisi. Housed in the building facilities of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management of the former Technical Scool (TEI)  of Central Greece.
