Course Content
Core concepts of bioethics and environmental ethics, interpretive approaches, anthropocentric, biocentric, and ecocentric perspectives, social ecology, traditional ethical theories, human–environment relationships, sustainability principles, intergenerational justice, quality of life, social cohesion, global responsibility, and the links between environmental and social issues.
Learning Results
Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to:
judges actions and facts regarding Environmental Ethics
understand the moral attitude of man towards the environment
The Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management joined the Faculty of Plant Sciences of the AUA. The Department operates from the academic year 2019-2020 and is based in Tthe city of Karpenisi. Housed in the building facilities of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management of the former Technical Scool (TEI) of Central Greece.
