Course Content

Market-driven innovations in wood products, including lightweight panels with honeycomb structures, cross-laminated timber (CLT), carbon-fiber-reinforced wood beams, nanotechnology-based waterproofing, high-energy-efficiency wood materials, modified wood (Accoya), and thermally modified wood (Thermowood) for structural and outdoor applications.

DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY 

The Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management joined the Faculty of Plant Sciences of the AUA. The Department operates from the academic year 2019-2020 and is based in Tthe city of Karpenisi. Housed in the building facilities of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management of the former Technical Scool (TEI)  of Central Greece.
