Petros Kofakis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Agribusiness and Supply Chain Management of the Agricultural University of Athens.
He holds a PhD from the Université Paris-Sud (France) with honors, and a D.E.A. from the Institut National des Sciences et Techniques Nucléaires (INSTN) / Université Paris-Sud (France).
He has worked as a principal investigator and responsible for the coordination of research programs as well as the development / integration of specialized applications and information systems for the private and public sector and has successfully coordinated as a project leader more than 22 large-scale national and European R&D projects.
His research interests include: Information systems in Logistics, industrial informatics, automation systems, IoT, parallel and distributed systems.
