Foteini Kyriazi

Brief Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Foteini Kyriazi is Assistant Professor of Quantitative and Mathematical Methods in the Department of Agribusiness and Supply Chain Management at the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece. She is the former Director General of the Regional Directorate for Attica and the Aegean Islands at the Greek Payment Authority of Common Agricultural Policy Aid Schemes. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Forecasting
and Agricultural Economics, and also an M.A. degree in Economics, from the University of Peloponnese, and a B.A. degree in Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has published in major field journals, such as the Annals of Operations Research, The International Journal of Forecasting , the IMA Journal of Management Mathematics, and others, in forecasting and applied economics. Her current research interests focus on methodological improvements of adaptive learning forecasting techniques, the analysis of binary time series and the predictability of non-stationary time series.

The Department was created in 2019 (article 20, Law 4589/2019) and is an evolution of the Supply Systems Management Department (D.S.E.). Housed in a 770 sq.m. building. within a plot with a total area of 8,000 sq.m. in facilities with extensive research and teaching spaces.
