Associate Professor of Supply Chain & Logistics

Giannis T. Tsoulfas is an Associate Professor of “Supply Chain & Logistics” at the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece. He is also a Tutor-Counselor at the Open University of Cyprus and the Hellenic Open University; hence he has significant experience in distance education. In the past, he was an Assistant Professor at the Technological Education Institution of Sterea Ellada, Greece, a Scientific Associate at the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic and worked as an Independent Contractor / Mechanical Engineer for several design and construction companies and organisations. He holds an integrated master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, University of Patras, Greece. He holds a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Industrial Management and Technology, University of Piraeus, Greece. He has published about 60 articles in international journals, books, and conference proceedings and there are more than 500 citations in his publications (Scopus). He has participated in several research projects funded by European and Greek grants. Furthermore, he has been often invited as a referee for several scientific journals.
