The Internship aims to expand academic knowledge through the acquisition of experience, offering engagement and familiarization with problems and scientific data from the real work environment. It focuses on cutting-edge areas of Agricultural Business Management and Supply Systems, enhancing the professional prospects and future integration of students into the labor market. Successful completion of the Internship entails the award of ten (10) credit units (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System - ECTS).
The minimum academic progress requirements before the commencement of the Internship are that the student has completed nine (9) academic semesters of studies. Students are not required to have previously successfully attended specific courses (either mandatory or elective).

- Students who are in their 10th semester or are currently studying for their degree and have not completed their internship in the 2024-25 academic year must complete a four-month mandatory internship in order to complete the 20 ECTS of the internship course.
- The recognition or non-recognition of internships for working students of the Department of Agricultural Business Administration and Supply Systems, provided that they are employed exclusively in subjects covered by the Department, is carried out upon application by the students and evaluation of the application by the internship committee. The recognition provision also applies to students who, according to the Acad. year 2024-25 are in the 10th Semester of studies (entrants 2020-21) or are in the process of graduating and have NOT yet completed the Internship.
- Students of the 8th Semester in the Academic year 2024-25 (entrants 2021-22) who have already completed two (2) months of internship in the 6th semester, from the implementation of the provisions of Law 5128/2024 are not required to complete an Internship and their Internship that they have completed is equivalent to 10 ECTS (instead of the 5 ECTS that the Internship corresponded to when the students were in the 6th semester).
- Students of the 8th Semester in the Academic year 2024-25 (entrants 2021-22) who have already completed two (2) months of internship in the 6th semester, from the implementation of the provisions of Law 5128/2024 are not required to complete an Internship and their Internship that they have completed is equivalent to 10 ECTS (instead of the 5 ECTS that the Internship corresponded to when the students were in the 6th semester). year 2024-25 (entrants 2021-22) and students of the 6th semester in the Academic year 2024-25 (entrants 2022-23), who have NOT completed an Internship, must optionally complete two (2) months of Internship during the 10th semester or choose 2 elective courses from any year, from the academic year 2025-26 onwards, in order to complete 300 ECTS for the degree.
- Students of the 8th semester who have not completed the two-month internship (in the 6th semester) and have submitted their applications for a two-month P.A. by February 28, 2025 will have the opportunity to do it in the summer of 2025 if there are available places. If the places are not sufficient, then the Department's selection criteria will be applied. In any case, they will be able to carry out their internship in the 10th semester.
- Students of the 8th semester in the academic year 2024-25 (entrants 2021-22), must choose two (2) additional elective courses of any year, from the academic year 2025-26 onwards, in order to complete 300 ECTS for the degree.
- Students of the 6th semester in the academic year 2024-25 (entrants 2022-23), must choose two (2) additional elective courses of any year, from the academic year 2025-26 onwards, in order to complete 300 ECTS for the degree.
- For students who have a contract with the Institution implementing their internship beyond two months and up to four months, the Institution must compensate for the additional internship, which will also include insurance coverage. In the event of a written refusal by the Institution for this compensation, it will be covered by University resources through the ELKE.
